Our shop specializes in the repair of Hydraulic and Pneumatic cylinders, valves, motors and other components. With over 20 years experience you can rely on us to get your equipment back in service, quickly, and within budget.
Mechanical Equipment
Repair
For equipment of all sizes we offer simple mechanical repairs, including bearing pressing, steering & suspension component replacement, shaft straightening & replacement, forklift tire changes and more.
Hydraulic
Hose Assemblies
We are now selling Parker Hydraulic Hose assemblies. For our local farmers, fisherman, and foresters we'll be keeping stock and for those bigger projects we have access to a major supply, usually within 2 days.​
Preventive Maintenance
Programs
We also offer preventative maintenance programs for Hydraulic systems, agriculture, forestry and industrial equipment. This includes Filter Programs, Fluid changes & flushes, lubrication programs and routine inspections.
After Hours Repairs & Call-outs
J's Hydraulic & Mechanical Services knows not everything happens between 8am and 4pm. If you need after hours assistance give us a call and if someone is available to help, we will, in shop or in the field.​

WHO WE ARE
J's Hydraulic & Mechanical Services is owned by James Sample and managed by Jason Sample. Together, these family members bring affordable maintenance services to businesses of all sizes, primarily in Rural Nova Scotia. We continue to evaluate the needs of our clients everyday and work to bring them more of the services they need for their operations to continue reliably and efficiently.
